OUTREACH  SERIES

Community outreach and engagement is an integral part of the PowerFilled Youth Program. 

 It's our strong belief that once youth realize they have the power to influence decisions about their community, city and society as a whole, they often begin to rise amongst their peers and show improved of leadership skills and better problem-solving and decision-making skills.  In addition to building these important skills, engaging youth in the community also creates a sense of belonging and give youth reassurance that their voices and opinions are being considered and heard and that they are truly an important part of their community.

Annually, twice a year Powerfilledyouth cleans up garbage, debris, litter and other waste in the East Scarborough area. This is our way of showing that we care about our community and it's appearance.  We understand that it's our responsibility to take care of the world we live in and choose to lead by example.
